✓

You've heard of 529s and custodial accounts but don't know how they work or which one fits your family.

You aren't wealthy, and you want to start preparing for your child's future with what you have right now.

✓

You want a written plan with real numbers that works with your family's budget, not just good intentions.

What we'll explore

The tools available to your family

We'll discuss how each one works, its benefits and limitations, and where it could fit in your plan.

Custodial investment accounts

An investment account you manage on your child's behalf. The money belongs to your child and becomes theirs to control at the age your state sets.

529 education savings plans

Tax-advantaged savings built for education costs, with rules and options that vary by plan and by state.

Custodial Roth IRAs

A retirement account for a child with earned income, giving their money decades of potential tax-free growth.

Other financial tools

High-yield savings, savings bonds, and accounts in your own name, and when one of these makes more sense for your goals.

Two meetings

How it works

Your Options

We walk through custodial investment accounts, 529 education savings plans, custodial Roth IRAs, and other tools, how each one works, and the benefits and limitations that matter for your family.

MEETING 2

Your Roadmap

We build a realistic funding strategy around your family's goals and budget, and you write your legacy roadmap with your options, savings and investing goals, contributions, and next steps.

Your child's future calculator

See what a steady monthly amount could grow into by the time your child reaches the age you choose, and what waiting could cost. The numbers below are an example to start from.

The growth rate is an assumption, not a promise. Real returns go up and down, investments can lose value, and a savings account grows far more slowly.

Questions

Before you book

Who is this for?

Parents and guardians who want to do more than save money for their children but aren't sure where to begin.

Do I need a lot of money to start?

No. You don't have to be wealthy to prepare for your child's future. We build your plan around what your family can realistically contribute, even if that starts small.

How old does my child need to be?

Any age works. Many of these accounts can be opened from birth, and we'll talk through which options fit your child's age and your timeline. A custodial Roth IRA does require your child to have earned income.

Will you tell me which account or investment to choose?

No. I teach you how each option works and its benefits and limitations, and you make the decision. For tax or legal questions specific to your family, a tax professional or attorney is the right person to ask.

Is this financial advice?

No. This is education and coaching. You make every decision, and I help you understand your options and build the plan to act on them.

Ready to start your child's legacy?

Two meetings, one written roadmap, and a clear first step toward your child's financial foundation.
